Catching fish is fun, but let’s face it: cooking them can be a bit messy. But there is a better way. At the Splashing Rock Restaurant, our gourmet chef will cook whatever you bring us in our kitchen and even clean up afterwards.
Imagine sitting down in a comfy lodge setting with a nice glass of wine. You’re munching on warm, crusty bread with butter. Then your friendly server walks out holding a plate with the fish you caught that afternoon. Now, though, it’s been transformed. What was once a large, unpleasantly slippery foe has been reduced to a tasty meal.
Here’s how it works. You call an hour or two ahead of time to let us know how many will be having their own fish cooked. Bring the cleaned fillets in a bag to us and discuss with our chef how you want them prepared (some fish can be grilled, some can’t). For $15 each, you’ll get them expertly fried with aioli, blackened with lemon butter sauce, or whatever you decide, along with a vegetable, fries or wild rice pilaf, and bread.
How’s that for fresh?
