Tale of Two Ice Skating Rinks

Silver Bay has only officially been a city since 1954, but its settlers wasted no time getting things set up. Built to house workers at the mine, it is now populated with all the amenities that go with a well-established community of families making their lives in this valley in the wilderness. It has all that is needed for survival and recreation. There are schools, shops, churches, restaurants, a bowling alley, baseball diamonds, and two places to go ice skating. Sort of like Minneapolis and St. Paul, we could call these the “Twin Rinks,” being next door neighbors with similarities and differences.
