Skating Pond
Our skating pond is reminiscent of days gone by and perfect for the couple that wants to leisurely enjoy a winter's afternoon or evening. Follow the lit trail just a short distance from the lodge and enjoy this north woods winter pond, complete with bonfire pit. Remember to bring your own skates.
Dog Sledding
Grand Superior Lodge will host Ward Wallen with his team of eight Alaskan Huskies and their toboggan sled. Guests will be able to listen to his stories of dog sledding for fun and competition. You'll have the opportunity to climb aboard the sled and get the feel of being pulled by an 8-dog team. Dress appropriately as even a short ride can get quite chill'n. Snowmobile Heaven!
Grand Superior offers direct access from lodge parking lot to miles of groomed snowmobile trails on the incredibly beautiful North Shore with amazing scenic vistas and already arrived for the season -- lots and lots of snow!! For more information, click here.
