When you think of a small town, you conjure up idyllic images of families playing catch in the park, picnic tables in the background, and people napping in the shade under trees. You can do all this in Two Harbors. For such a small town, they offer five lovely parks.

Thomas Owens Park & Bandshell
This is as Norman Rockwell as it gets; a bandshell set in a green, treed-square in a residential neighborhood a few blocks off main where the Two Harbors City Band plays Thursday nights in the summer and an occasional ice cream social is held. 
Located midway between Highway 61 and the waterfront.

Odegard Park
Here's your ball throwing park; open space, ball fields, picnic tables and a playground in the summer, and a lighted outdoor skating rink in the winter. 
Located North of Highway 61 on 9th St.

Lakeview Park
Made for admiring Lake Superior views; a nicely wooded city block across the road from Burlington Bay with picnic tables, barbecues, a playground, accessible Lake Superior shoreline and place to hop on the paved Sonju Trail leading to the next park.
Located South of Highway 61 on Park Road.

Paul Van Hoven Park
A big ship watching spot; on a blustery day, you can sit in your car right in the parking lot and watch ships manuever in and out of the harbor. On a nice day, amble out along the waterfront and have your picture taken in front of the Edna G.
Located South of Highway 61 on Waterfront St.

Segog Park
Odegard's twin sister in the western half of town; ball fields and a playground in the summer, a lit outdoor skating rink in the winter.
